Biography
Mary Doyle has been a Junior Fellow on the Youth Inequalities project since February 2009. She was awarded a B. Soc.Sc., and first class Masters in Social Science from the School of Applied Social Science in University College Dublin. During her Masters Mary completed a short work placement with the Immigrant Council of Ireland working on housing and immigrants in a cross national perspective.
Upon completion of her Masters degree in 2007, she worked for one year as a research assistant for a private research company. Her previous work includes qualitative research for the Combat Poverty Agency on ‘hard to reach’ & marginalized groups; also qualitative work for the State Examinations Commission and the National Disability Authority. Her current role within the project is to provide research and methodological assistance to the project director as well as more senior team members. She has recently been co-author on two projects with Dr. Dorren Mc Mahon and Dr. Péter Róbert. She is also responsible for organising work shops and conferences.
